I've been a designer for more than twenty years. Before that I trained as a ceramicist, then as an architect at AHO in Oslo. I moved into design in 2004 and have been building practices and leading teams ever since, including frog Norway, which I grew from one designer to a hundred.

My work sits at the intersection of design strategy, leadership, and emerging technology. I'm interested in AI, not as hype but as a design material and an organisational force. I think in systems, build environments, and treat craft as a practice rather than a finish.

This is where my long-form writing lives: essays on design leadership, creativity, and what it means to do design well in a moment when the ground keeps moving. They get reposted on LinkedIn and elsewhere, but this is the source. Some are in English, some in Norwegian. The language is declared on each piece.
